Yes because he was able to communicate clearly, with emotion, and keep eye contact with the crowd.

His good were he was able to communicate clearly, with emotion, and keep eye contact with the crowd and he had good body emotion. His bad one was he may have been so repetitive because he did not remember his lines.

He used his voice to put emotion in his speech.

He used body language to put more emotion in his speech.

They used him because he is being directly effected by the conflict of Dallas schools and people would probably pay more attention to a child rather than an adult.

The message was to support and somewhat thank the staff of Dallas schools.

Yes I do think the teachers believed the message, but some might not have taken him sincerely because he was a child.
